The Grand Oaks Grizzlies basketball team scored 77 points and held the host Willis Wildkats to 53 in the Grizzlies league triumph on Wednesday.
The Grizzlies now sport a 21-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host The Woodlands for a 6A Region II District 13 contest on Saturday, January 21. Grand Oaks will battle a Highlanders team coming off a 68-61 league win over Conroe (Conroe, TX). The Highlanders record now stands at 18-6.
The Wildkats (12-16) will now prepare for their contest against Cleveland (Cleveland, TX). The Indians enter the 6A Region II District 13 contest with a 9-12 record. In their last contest, Cleveland triumphed over Caney Creek (Conroe, TX), 63-51, in a league contest.
