Sutton Sammies (Sutton, MA) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Hopedale Blue Raiders (Hopedale, MA), 43-37 in a league bout.

With the win, Sutton upgrades its record to 8-1 on the season. The Sammies travel to Whitinsville Christian (Whitinsville, MA) to clash with the Crusaders in a Dual Valley bout on Friday, January 20. The Crusaders go into the bout with a record of 4-4. Whitinsville Christian won 54-42 in their recent league bout against Douglas (Douglas, MA)

Next up, the Blue Raiders clash with the Blackstone-Millville Chargers (Blackstone, MA) in a Dual Valley bout, on Friday, January 20. Hopedale will attempt to upgrade on its 7-2 season record. The Chargers go into the bout with a 0-11 record after their 69-41 league loss to Nipmuc Regional (Upton, MA).
