In Wednesday's league match, the visiting Kirby Trojans basketball team scored a good 55-45 triumph over the Lafayette County Cougars.
In their next game, the Trojans face the Blevins Hornets (Blevins, AR) in a 1A Region 7 match, on Thursday, January 19. Kirby will attempt to move on its 8-5 season record. The Hornets enter the match with a 4-15 record after their 64-53 league win over Oden (Oden, AR).
