St. Michael Warriors (Baton Rouge, LA) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Live Oak Eagles (Watson, LA), 60-40 in a non-league bout.

With the win, St. Michael upgrades its record to 8-7 on the season. The Warriors host Brusly (Brusly, LA) to play the Panthers in a 4A District 6 bout on Friday, January 20. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 8-3.

Next up, the Eagles play the Mentorship Academy Sharks (Baton Rouge, LA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 20. Live Oak will attempt to upgrade on its 7-10 season record.
