Rockwell Marshals (Eagle Mountain, UT) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Merit Preparatory Academy Knights (Springville, UT), 77-36 in a league bout.

With the victory, Rockwell upgrades its record to 6-8 on the campaign. The Marshals travel to Freedom Prep Academy (Provo, UT) to play the Eagles in a 2A Region 18 bout on Friday, January 20. The Eagles come into the bout with a record of 1-6. Freedom Prep Academy won 55-40 in their recent league bout against Utah Military Academy - Camp Williams (Lehi, UT)

Next up, the Knights play the Maeser Prep Academy Lions (Lindon, UT) in a 2A Region 18 bout, on Wednesday, January 25. Merit Preparatory Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 4-13 season record. The Lions enter the game with a 3-13 record after their 80-28 league loss to American Heritage (American Fork, UT).
