Middlesboro Yellowjackets (Middlesboro, KY) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting White Academy Knights (Harrogate, TN), 62-32 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Middlesboro upgrades its record to 4-7 on the season. The Yellowjackets travel to Harlan (Harlan, KY) to clash with the Green Dragons in a District 52 bout on Friday, January 20. The Green Dragons go into the bout with a record of 13-1. Harlan won 88-86 in their recent non-league bout against Clay County (Manchester, KY)

Next up, the Knights clash with the KACHEA Wildcats (Kingsport, TN) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 20. White Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 5-5 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 8-5 record after their 85-37 non-league loss to University (Johnson City, TN).
