The Midland Timberwolves basketball team scored 81 points and restricted the visiting St. Bede Bruins to 53 in the Timberwolves non-league victory on Wednesday.

The Timberwolves now sport a 17-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Putnam County for a Tri-County contest on Friday, January 20. Midland will battle a Panthers team coming off a 62-53 non-league win over Kewanee (Kewanee, IL). The Panthers record now stands at 17-4.

The Bruins (7-14) will now prepare for their contest against Princeton (Princeton, IL). The Tigers come into the Three Rivers - East contest with a 20-0 record. In their last contest, Princeton triumphed over Dixon (Dixon, IL), 60-52, in a non-league contest.
