Mountain Valley Falcons (Rumford, ME) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Oak Hill Raiders (Sabattus, ME), 55-34 in a league bout.

With the win, Mountain Valley upgrades its record to 3-3 on the season. The Falcons travel to Mount Abram (Strong, ME) to clash with the Roadrunners in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 19. The Roadrunners go into the bout with a record of 7-2. Mount Abram won 89-30 in their recent league bout against Telstar (Bethel, ME)

Next up, the Raiders clash with the Madison Bulldogs (Madison, ME) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 20. Oak Hill will attempt to upgrade on its 1-10 season record.
