Smithfield Packers (Smithfield, VA) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Tabb Tigers (Yorktown, VA), 76-52 in a league bout.

With the win, Smithfield upgrades its record to 13-3 on the season. The Packers travel to New Kent (New Kent, VA) to play the Trojans in a Bay Rivers bout on Friday, January 20. The Trojans go into the bout with a record of 12-4. New Kent won 73-55 in their recent league bout against York (Yorktown, VA)

Next up, the Tigers play the Lafayette Rams (Williamsburg, VA) in a Bay Rivers bout, on Friday, January 20. Tabb will attempt to upgrade on its 2-13 season record. The Rams go into the bout with a 13-3 record after their 65-55 league win over Bruton (Williamsburg, VA).
