In Wednesday's league outing, the St. Bernard Vikings (Playa del Rey, CA) basketball squad beat the visiting St. Anthony Saints (Long Beach, CA), by a margin of 62-53.
The Vikings (17-5) will now prepare for their outing against St. Paul (Santa Fe Springs, CA). The Swordsmen go into the Del Rey outing with a 16-9 record. In their last outing, St. Paul was beaten by St. Anthony (Long Beach, CA), 63-53, in a league outing.
The Saints now own a 11-11 record. They play next when they host St. Paul for a Del Rey outing on Friday, January 20. St. Anthony will clash with a Swordsmen squad coming off a 67-59 league loss to Bishop Montgomery (Torrance, CA). The Swordsmen record now stands at 16-8.
