Sumner Stingrays (Riverview, FL) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Strawberry Crest Chargers (Dover, FL), 64-57 in a league bout.

With the win, Sumner upgrades its record to 15-4 on the season. The Stingrays travel to Lakeland (Lakeland, FL) to clash with the Dreadnaughts in a non-league bout on Monday, January 23. The Dreadnaughts go into the bout with a record of 13-3.

Next up, the Chargers clash with the Plant City Raiders (Plant City, FL) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 20. Strawberry Crest will attempt to upgrade on its 8-11 season record. The Raiders go into the bout with a 15-3 record after their 64-32 non-league win over Lennard (Ruskin, FL).
