The De Anza Dons basketball team (El Sobrante, CA), was overwhelmed 73-27 in Wednesday's league battle with the visiting Salesian College Preparatory Pride (Richmond, CA)

The Pride now possess a 14-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Miramonte for a non-league battle on Saturday, January 21. Salesian College Preparatory will confront a Matadors team coming off a 47-32 league loss to Acalanes (Lafayette, CA). The Matadors record now stands at 2-11.

The Dons (1-8) will now prepare for their battle against Saint Mary's (Albany, CA). The Panthers come into the battle with a 7-3 record. In their last battle, Saint Mary's trounced Pinole Valley (Pinole, CA), 48-44, in a league battle.
