The Del Oro Golden Eagles basketball team (Loomis, CA), was overwhelmed 61-37 in Wednesday's league battle with the visiting Rocklin Thunder (Rocklin, CA)
The Thunder now possess a 12-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Whitney for a battle on Thursday, January 19. Rocklin will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 73-66 league loss to Oak Ridge (El Dorado Hills, CA). The Wildcats record now stands at 13-5.
The Golden Eagles (11-7) will now prepare for their battle against Granite Bay (Granite Bay, CA). The Grizzlies come into the battle with a 5-12 record. In their last battle, Granite Bay was overwhelmed by Folsom (Folsom, CA), 76-43, in a league battle.
