With the win, A.J. Ellender upgrades its record to 6-10 on the season. The Patriots travel to South Lafourche (Galliano, LA) to clash with the Tarpons in a 4A District 7 bout on Friday, January 20. The Tarpons go into the bout with a record of 4-11. South Lafourche won 62-32 in their recent non-league bout against Bonnabel (Kenner, LA)

Next up, the Braves clash with the Houma Christian Warriors (Houma, LA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 20. Bourgeois will attempt to upgrade on its 2-10 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 10-0 record after their 37-33 non-league win over Covenant Christian Academy (Houma, LA).
