The Bishop O'Dowd Dragons basketball team (Oakland, CA), was nudged 69-62 in Wednesday's league battle with the visiting Piedmont Highlanders (Piedmont, CA)
The Highlanders now sport a 16-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Berkeley for a West Alameda County - Foothill battle on Friday, January 20. Piedmont will battle a Yellowjackets team coming off a 44-34 league loss to Alameda (Alameda, CA). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 5-13.
The Dragons (10-6) will now prepare for their battle against San Leandro (San Leandro, CA). The Pirates come into the West Alameda County - Foothill battle with a 13-3 record. In their last battle, San Leandro was nudged by Francis Parker (San Diego, CA), 42-41, in a non-league battle.
