Illinois High School Basketball - Gallatin County knocked off by Carmi-White County

The Carmi-White County Bulldogs basketball team scored 58 points and held the visiting Gallatin County Hawks to 40 in the Bulldogs non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Bulldogs now sport a 9-14 record. They put it on the line next when they host Fairfield for a Black Diamond - East contest on Monday, January 23. Carmi-White County will battle a Mules team coming off a 36-33 non-league win over Johnston City (Johnston City, IL). The Mules record now stands at 13-11.
The Hawks (10-14) will now prepare for their contest against Wayne City/Cisne (Wayne City, IL). The enter the non-league contest with a 0-3 record. In their last contest, Wayne City/Cisne was defeated by Hamilton County (McLeansboro, IL), 47-19, in a non-league contest.
