California High School Basketball - Castle Park edges Southwest SD

January 18, 2023: Chula Vista, CA 91911

The Castle Park Trojans (Chula Vista, CA) basketball nipped the visiting Southwest SD Raiders (San Diego, CA), 37-32 in Wednesday's league test.

The Trojans (1-17) will now prepare for their test against Hilltop (Chula Vista, CA). The Lancers go into the South Bay test with a 4-13 record. In their last test, Hilltop was tipped by Monte Vista (Spring Valley, CA), 58-34, in a non-league test.

The Raiders now own a 3-14 record. They play next when they host Sweetwater for a South Bay test on Friday, January 20. Southwest SD will encounter a Red Devils squad coming off a 56-31 league loss to Mar Vista (Imperial Beach, CA). The Red Devils record now stands at 3-14.
