With the victory, Catholic of Pointe Coupee upgrades its record to 9-3 on the campaign. The Hornets host Westminster Academy (Opelousas, LA) to play the Crusaders in a 1A District 6 challenge on Friday, January 20. The Crusaders come into the challenge with a record of 9-4. Westminster Academy won 59-12 in their recent league challenge against False River (New Roads, LA)

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Covenant Christian Academy Lions (Houma, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 19. Thrive Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 2-11 season record. The Lions come into the challenge with a 4-6 record after their 37-33 non-league loss to Houma Christian (Houma, LA).
