Claymont Mustangs (Uhrichsville, OH) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Ridgewood Generals (West Lafayette, OH), 41-25 in a league bout.

With the win, Claymont upgrades its record to 7-7 on the season. The Mustangs host Indian Valley (Gnadenhutten, OH) to play the Braves in a Inter-Valley bout on Monday, January 23. The Braves go into the bout with a record of 2-13. Indian Valley lost 60-49 in their recent non-league bout against Meadowbrook (Byesville, OH)

Next up, the Generals play the Garaway Pirates (Sugarcreek, OH) in a Inter-Valley bout, on Saturday, January 21. Ridgewood will attempt to upgrade on its 5-6 season record. The Pirates go into the bout with a 9-5 record after their 40-38 league loss to Tuscarawas Valley (Zoarville, OH).
