Salem Generals (Salem, NY) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Crown Point Panthers (Crown Point, NY), 69-30 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Salem upgrades its record to 8-3 on the season. The Generals host Hadley Luzerne (Lake Luzerne, NY) to play the Eagles in a Section 2 Adirondack III bout on Friday, January 20. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 9-4. Hadley Luzerne won 43-42 in their recent non-league bout against Warrensburg (Warrensburg, NY)

Next up, the Panthers play the Keene Central Beavers (Keene Valley, NY) in a Section 7 Mountain and Valley II bout, on Friday, January 20. Crown Point will attempt to upgrade on its 1-9 season record. The Beavers go into the bout with a 4-5 record after their 51-36 league loss to Bolton Central (Bolton Landing, NY).
