The Dallas Mountaineers basketball team scored 60 points and restricted the host Hazleton Area Cougars to 54 in the Mountaineers league victory on Wednesday.

The Mountaineers now sport a 4-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Wyoming Valley West for a Wyoming Valley 1 contest on Monday, January 23.

The Cougars (11-4) will now prepare for their contest against Tunkhannock (Tunkhannock, PA). The Tigers come into the Wyoming Valley 3 contest with a 2-5 record. In their last contest, Tunkhannock edged Berwick (Berwick, PA), 34-26, in a non-league contest.
