The Garfield Bulldogs (Los Angeles, CA) basketball knocked off the host Huntington Park Spartans (Huntington Park, CA), 43-24 in Wednesday's league test.
The Bulldogs (9-9) will now prepare for their test against South Gate (South Gate, CA). The Rams go into the Eastern test with a 8-11 record. In their last test, South Gate notched a victory over Roosevelt (Los Angeles, CA), 52-29, in a league test.
The Spartans now own a 11-4 record. They play next when they host Roosevelt for a Eastern test on Monday, January 23. Huntington Park will encounter a Rough Riders squad coming off a 39-35 league loss to Legacy (South Gate, CA). The Rough Riders record now stands at 9-14.
