In Wednesday's non-league match, the host Salt Fork Storm basketball team scored a good 26-16 triumph over the Georgetown-Ridge Farm Buffaloes.
In their next game, the Storm meet the Iroquois West Raiders (Gilman, IL) in a Vermilion Valley match, on Monday, January 23. Salt Fork will attempt to better on its 13-7 season record. The Raiders enter the match with a 14-10 record after their 41-26 league loss to Cissna Park (Cissna Park, IL).
With the defeat, Georgetown-Ridge Farm moves to 9-9 on the year. The Buffaloes travel to Oakwood (Fithian, IL) to meet the Comets in a non-league match on Friday, January 20.
