Harrisburg Eagles (Harrisburg, OR) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host La Pine Hawks (La Pine, OR), 42-37 in a league bout.

With the victory, Harrisburg upgrades its record to 9-8 on the campaign. The Eagles host Pleasant Hill (Pleasant Hill, OR) to play the Billies in a 3A Mountain Valley bout on Friday, January 20. The Billies come into the bout with a record of 13-1. Pleasant Hill won 42-21 in their recent league bout against Sisters (Sisters, OR)

Next up, the Hawks play the Sisters Outlaws (Sisters, OR) in a 3A Mountain Valley bout, on Monday, January 23. La Pine will attempt to upgrade on its 2-12 season record.
