Hector Wildcats (Hector, AR) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Mansfield Tigers (Mansfield, AR), 65-46 in a league bout.

With the victory, Hector upgrades its record to 10-1 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Westside (Coal Hill, AR) to play the Rebels in a 2A Region 4 bout on Friday, January 20. The Rebels come into the bout with a record of 2-13.

Next up, the Tigers play the Future School of Fort Smith Rockets (Fort Smith, AR) in a 2A Region 4 bout, on Saturday, January 21. Mansfield will attempt to upgrade on its 17-3 season record.
