North Carolina High School Basketball - Heritage succumbs to Wakefield

The Wakefield Wolverines topped the visiting Heritage Huskies basketball team by a final score of 42-34 in Wednesday's league game.

In their next game, the Wolverines face the Knightdale Knights (Knightdale, NC) in a 4A Conference 27 game, on Friday, January 20. Wakefield will attempt to move on its 13-5 season record. The Knights enter the game with a 9-8 record after their 66-14 league loss to Millbrook (Raleigh, NC).

With the defeat, Heritage moves to 10-8 on the year. The Huskies host Rolesville (Rolesville, NC) to face the Rams in a 4A Conference 27 game on Friday, January 20. The Rams enter the game with a record of 15-3. Rolesville won 65-34 in their recent league game against Wake Forest (Wake Forest, NC)
