Morgantown Mohigans (Morgantown, WV) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting John Marshall Monarchs (Glen Dale, WV), 61-40 in a league bout.

With the win, Morgantown upgrades its record to 7-3 on the season. The Mohigans host University (Morgantown, WV) to play the Hawks in a Two Rivers bout on Friday, January 20. The Hawks go into the bout with a record of 9-6. University won 47-43 in their recent non-league bout against Linsly (Wheeling, WV)

Next up, the Monarchs play the Union Local Jets (Belmont, OH) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 23. John Marshall will attempt to upgrade on its 13-5 season record.
