The Mechanicsburg Indians basketball team scored 39 points and held the host West Jefferson Roughriders to 34 in the Indians league triumph on Wednesday.

The Indians now sport a 13-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Triad for a Ohio Heritage contest on Saturday, January 21. Mechanicsburg will meet a Cardinals team coming off a 48-22 league loss to West Liberty-Salem (West Liberty, OH). The Cardinals record now stands at 2-14.

The Roughriders (4-5) will now prepare for their contest against Fairbanks (Milford Center, OH). The Panthers enter the Ohio Heritage contest with a 16-2 record. In their last contest, Fairbanks nudged Northeastern (Springfield, OH), 60-16, in a league contest.
