West Valley Mustangs (Hemet, CA) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Perris Panthers (Perris, CA), 72-19 in a league bout.

With the win, West Valley upgrades its record to 9-2 on the season. The Mustangs host Liberty (Winchester, CA) to clash with the Bison in a Mountain Pass bout on Friday, January 20. The Bison go into the bout with a record of 7-7. Liberty lost 55-36 in their recent league bout against Tahquitz (Hemet, CA)

Next up, the Panthers clash with the Citrus Hill Hawks (Perris, CA) in a Mountain Pass bout, on Friday, January 20. Perris will attempt to upgrade on its 2-12 season record. The Hawks go into the bout with a 1-15 record after their 68-9 league loss to San Jacinto (San Jacinto, CA).
