Maine High School Basketball - Windham thwarts Portland

The Windham Eagles (Windham, ME) basketball knocked off the visiting Portland Bulldogs (Portland, ME), 48-30 in Wednesday's league test.
The Eagles (5-5) will now prepare for their test against Edward Little (Auburn, ME). The Red Eddies go into the AA North test with a 7-9 record. In their last test, Edward Little went down by Cheverus (Portland, ME), 50-21, in a league test.
The Bulldogs now own a 1-9 record. They play next when they travel to Falmouth for a non-league test on Friday, January 20. Portland will encounter a Navigators squad coming off a 52-39 league win over Westbrook (Westbrook, ME). The Navigators record now stands at 7-4.
