In Wednesday's league match, the visiting Quitman Bulldogs basketball team scored a tight 51-49 triumph over the South Side Hornet.
In their next game, the Bulldogs meet the Sloan-Hendrix Greyhounds (Imboden, AR) in a 2A Region 2 match, on Saturday, January 21. Quitman will attempt to move on its 12-3 season record.
With the defeat, South Side moves to 8-6 on the year. The Hornet travel to Marshall (Marshall, AR) to meet the Bobcats in a 2A Region 2 match on Tuesday, January 24. The Bobcats enter the match with a record of 3-4.
