Shadow Hills Knights (Indio, CA) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Rancho Mirage Rattlers (Rancho Mirage, CA), 80-12 in a league bout.

With the win, Shadow Hills upgrades its record to 7-13 on the season. The Knights travel to La Quinta (La Quinta, CA) to play the Blackhawks in a Desert Empire bout on Friday, January 20. The Blackhawks go into the bout with a record of 11-7. La Quinta lost 66-39 in their recent league bout against Xavier Prep (Palm Desert, CA)

Next up, the Rattlers play the Palm Springs Indians (Palm Springs, CA) in a Desert Empire bout, on Friday, January 20. Rancho Mirage will attempt to upgrade on its 1-15 season record. The Indians go into the bout with a 4-15 record after their 50-18 league loss to Palm Desert (Palm Desert, CA).
