The Wayne Warriors basketball team (Huber Heights, OH), was overwhelmed 49-27 in Wednesday's league battle with the host Springboro Panthers (Springboro, OH)
The Panthers now possess a 10-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Springfield for a Greater Western Ohio battle on Saturday, January 21. Springboro will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 54-26 league loss to Fairmont (Kettering, OH). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-6.
The Warriors (12-6) will now prepare for their battle against Beavercreek (Beavercreek, OH). The Beavers come into the Greater Western Ohio battle with a 11-6 record. In their last battle, Beavercreek was overwhelmed by Centerville (Centerville, OH), 40-36, in a league battle.
