West Brook Bruins (Beaumont, TX) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Summer Creek Bulldogs (Houston, TX), 50-44 in a league bout.

With the win, West Brook upgrades its record to 23-3 on the season. The Bruins travel to Atascocita (Humble, TX) to clash with the Eagles in a 6A Region III District 21 bout on Saturday, January 21. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 4-21. Atascocita lost 44-40 in their recent league bout against Kingwood (Kingwood, TX)

Next up, the Bulldogs clash with the Humble Wildcats (Humble, TX) in a 6A Region III District 21 bout, on Saturday, January 21. Summer Creek will attempt to upgrade on its 25-3 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 11-13 record after their 45-32 league loss to King (Houston, TX).
