The Loara Saxons basketball team (Anaheim, CA), was nudged 23-21 in Wednesday's league battle with the visiting Bolsa Grande Matadors (Garden Grove, CA)

The Matadors now possess a 4-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Santiago for a contest on Friday, January 20. Bolsa Grande will battle a Cavaliers team coming off a 30-21 league win over Rancho Alamitos (Garden Grove, CA). The Cavaliers record now stands at 2-3.

The Saxons (1-3) will now prepare for their contest against La Quinta (Westminster, CA). The Aztecs enter the contest with a 6-8 record. In their last contest, La Quinta was nudged by Los Amigos (Fountain Valley, CA), 44-33, in a league contest.
