The Pittsburg Pirates basketball team (Pittsburg, CA), was nudged 23-22 in Wednesday's league battle with the visiting Freedom Falcons (Oakley, CA)
The Falcons now sport a 9-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Antioch for a battle on Friday, January 20. Freedom will battle a Panthers team coming off a 42-12 league loss to Liberty (Brentwood, CA). The Panthers record now stands at 5-9.
The Pirates (4-9) will now prepare for their battle against Heritage (Brentwood, CA). The Patriots come into the battle with a 9-5 record. In their last battle, Heritage edged Deer Valley (Antioch, CA), 62-24, in a league battle.
