Classical Academy Caimans (Escondido, CA) supporters were pleased Wednesday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Bishop's Knights (La Jolla, CA), 1-0 in a league challenge.

Next, the Caimans confront the Francis Parker Lancers (San Diego, CA) in a Coastal challenge, on Friday, January 20. Classical Academy will attempt to move on its 13-3 season record. The Lancers enter the challenge with a 7-4 record after their 6-0 league win over La Jolla Country Day (La Jolla, CA).

The Knights now possess a 2-5 record. They take the field next when they host Pacific Ridge for a Pacific challenge on Friday, January 20. Bishop's will confront a Firebird team coming off a 3-1 league win over Foothills Christian (El Cajon, CA). The Firebird record now stands at 9-4.
