In Wednesday's league battle, the visiting Palm Desert Aztecs soccer squad scored a close 2-1 win over the Palm Springs Indians.
The Aztecs (10-3) will now prepare for their battle against Xavier Prep (Palm Desert, CA). The Saints go into the Desert Empire battle with a 6-3 record. In their last battle, Xavier Prep was nudged by La Quinta (La Quinta, CA), 3-1, in a league battle.
The Indians (5-4) will now prepare for their battle against Rancho Mirage (Rancho Mirage, CA). The Rattlers go into the Desert Empire battle with a 2-7 record. In their last battle, Rancho Mirage was nudged by Shadow Hills (Indio, CA), 5-0, in a league battle.
