In Wednesday's league battle, the host Sage Creek Bobcats soccer squad scored a close 1-0 triumph over the San Marcos Knights.

The Bobcats (6-3) will now prepare for their battle against La Costa Canyon (Carlsbad, CA). The Mavericks come into the Coastal (NCC) battle with a 4-2 record. In their last battle, La Costa Canyon Carlsbad (Carlsbad, CA), 0-0, in a league battle.
