With the win, Cardinal Gibbons upgrades its record to 1-5 on the season. The Chiefs host Highlands Christian (Pompano Beach, FL) to play the Knights in a non-league bout on Monday, January 23. The Knights go into the bout with a record of 0-2.

Next up, the Lions play the Northeast Hurricanes (Oakland Park, FL) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 24. Westminster Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 4-4 season record. The Hurricanes go into the bout with a 5-8 record after their 67-43 non-league loss to Cypress Bay (Weston, FL).
