Maryland High School Basketball - McDonough can't hold off Leonardtown

The Leonardtown Raiders basketball team scored 54 points and held the host McDonough Rams to 50 in the Raiders league victory on Wednesday.
With the victory, Leonardtown upgrades its record to 7-2 on the campaign. The Raiders host Chopticon (Morganza, MD) to play the Braves in a bout on Friday, January 20. The Braves come into the bout with a record of 1-2.
Next up, the Rams play the Great Mills Hornets (Great Mills, MD) in a bout, on Wednesday, January 25. McDonough will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record. The Hornets come into the bout with a 11-1 record after their 54-44 league win over St. Charles (Waldorf, MD).
