The Abington Heights Comets basketball team scored 83 points and held the host West Scranton Invaders to 40 in the Comets league triumph on Thursday.

The Comets now sport a 14-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Honesdale for a non-league contest on Monday, January 22. Abington Heights will battle a Hornets team coming off a 66-30 non-league loss to Valley View (Archbald, PA). The Hornets record now stands at 6-6.

The Invaders (5-7) will now prepare for their contest against Scranton Prep (Scranton, PA). The Cavaliers enter the Lackawanna 1 contest with a 5-7 record. In their last contest, Scranton Prep was routed by Scranton (Scranton, PA), 61-60, in a league contest.
