New Life Academy Bobcats (Elizabeth City, NC) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Ahoskie Christian (Ahoskie, NC), 77-49 in a non-league bout.

With the win, New Life Academy upgrades its record to 14-3 on the season. The Bobcats travel to Victory Christian (Elizabeth City, NC) to play the Eagles in a Mid-Atlantic Christian - 1A North bout on Monday, January 22. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 7-7. Victory Christian lost 58-45 in their recent league bout against Bethel Christian (Hampton, VA)

Next up, the play the Heritage Christian Academy Patriots (Zebulon, NC) in a Mid-Atlantic Christian - South bout, on Friday, January 19. Ahoskie Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 7-15 season record. The Patriots go into the bout with a 4-7 record after their 65-37 league win over Calvary Baptist Church (New Bern, NC).
