North Carolina High School Basketball - Apprentice Academy overwhelmed by Sugar Creek

January 18, 2024: Charlotte, NC 28206

The Sugar Creek Wildcats basketball team scored 97 points and restricted the visiting Apprentice Academy Red Wolves to 32 in the Wildcats league victory on Thursday.

The Wildcats now sport a 9-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bonnie Cone Leadership Academy for a non-league contest on Monday, January 22. Sugar Creek will battle a Eagles team coming off a 59-58 league win over Carter G. Woodson (Winston-Salem, NC). The Eagles record now stands at 4-13.

The Red Wolves (0-8) will now prepare for their contest against Valor Preparatory Academy (Concord, NC). The Owls come into the 1A Metro 8 contest with a 8-7 record.
