California High School Basketball - Aptos trounces Scotts Valley

January 18, 2024: Aptos, CA 95003

The Aptos Mariners (Aptos, CA) basketball crushed the visiting Scotts Valley Falcons (Scotts Valley, CA), 57-35 in Thursday's league test.

The Mariners (13-7) will now prepare for their test against San Lorenzo Valley (Felton, CA). The Cougars go into the Santa Cruz Coast test with a 9-10 record. In their last test, San Lorenzo Valley was trounced by Soquel (Soquel, CA), 63-42, in a league test.

The Falcons now own a 11-11 record. They play next when they host Harbor for a Santa Cruz Coast test on Tuesday, January 23. Scotts Valley will encounter a Pirates squad coming off a 67-31 non-league win over Kirby Prep (Santa Cruz, CA). The Pirates record now stands at 12-8.
