Aurora Central Trojans (Aurora, CO) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Thornton Trojans (Thornton, CO), 76-55 in a league bout.
With the win, Aurora Central upgrades its record to 6-6 on the season. The Trojans host Adams City (Commerce City, CO) to play the Eagles in a 5A/4A Colorado bout on Monday, January 22. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 6-6. Adams City lost 70-53 in their recent non-league bout against Denver North (Denver, CO)
Next up, the Trojans play the Conifer Lobos (Conifer, CO) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 20. Thornton will attempt to upgrade on its 7-5 season record. The Lobos go into the bout with a 3-10 record after their 77-38 league loss to Wheat Ridge (Wheat Ridge, CO).
