The Shabazz Bulldogs basketball team scored 67 points and restricted the host Barringer Blue Bears to 51 in the Bulldogs league victory on Thursday.
The Bulldogs now sport a 6-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bard Early College for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 20. Shabazz will battle a Raptors team coming off a 47-35 non-league loss to Non Varsity Opponent (, ). The Raptors record now stands at 4-9.
The Blue Bears (3-6) will now prepare for their contest against Weequahic (Newark, NJ). The Indians come into the non-league contest with a 5-7 record. In their last contest, Weequahic prevailed over Cedar Grove (Cedar Grove, NJ), 48-43, in a league contest.
