Northeast Rebels (Goose Lake, IA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Beckman Trailblazers (Dyersville, IA), 68-40 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Northeast upgrades its record to 7-6 on the season. The Rebels travel to Cascade (Cascade, IA) to play the Cougars in a River Valley bout on Friday, January 19. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 6-3. Cascade won 58-46 in their recent non-league bout against Maquoketa (Maquoketa, IA)

Next up, the Trailblazers play the Tipton Tigers (Tipton, IA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 20. Beckman will attempt to upgrade on its 4-9 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 5-7 record after their 51-44 league loss to Wilton (Wilton, IA).
