Lone Pine Golden Eagles (Lone Pine, CA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Big Pine Warriors (Big Pine, CA), 68-20 in a league bout.

With the win, Lone Pine upgrades its record to 7-3 on the season. The Golden Eagles travel to Tonopah (Tonopah, NV) to play the Muckers in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 20. The Muckers go into the bout with a record of 3-9. Tonopah won 47-33 in their recent league bout against Indian Springs (Indian Springs, NV)

Next up, the Warriors play the Baker Braves (Baker, CA) in a Hi-Lo bout, on Saturday, January 20. Big Pine will attempt to upgrade on its 2-6 season record. The Braves go into the bout with a 3-7 record after their 51-40 league win over Lee Vining (Lee Vining, CA).
