The Faith Academy Flames basketball team scored 74 points and held the visiting Brazos Christian Eagles to 60 in the Flames league triumph on Thursday.

The Flames now sport a 17-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Live Oak Classical for a TAPPS 3A District 3 contest on Saturday, January 20. Faith Academy will meet a Falcons team coming off a 73-20 league win over Central Texas Christian (Temple, TX). The Falcons record now stands at 23-3.

The Eagles (10-3) will now prepare for their contest against Round Rock Christian Academy (Round Rock, TX). The Crusaders enter the TAPPS 3A District 3 contest with a 11-12 record. In their last contest, Round Rock Christian Academy was outscored by Reicher Catholic (Waco, TX), 78-48, in a league contest.
